PS5 owners had high expectations for it when it launched, especially after the success of the PS4 last year. Thankfully, this year's PS5 console has done a fantastic job of meeting those expectations. PS5 consoles have some significant expectations to meet, but the console has massively exceeded those expectations in every conceivably possible way.

New controllers for the PS5 are a revelation with haptic feedback and other clever features. The upcoming PlayStation 5 has a very impressive UI, but also has a lot more power than the original PS4. The PS5 has a lot of great features, and once you start using it, you won't want to stop.

But there's no denying that the PS5 looks ugly, largely due to its bulky design and wing-shaped screen. However, the PS5's gigantic size means it's very quiet and efficiently cools down when it needs to. You still have a choice of playing it upright or on its side, though we wish it didn't need to be put on a stand. More important, the PS5 has not suffered any serious hardware issues since it launched, such as crashing hard or causing your games to crash.
